Observation of magnetodielectric effects in Nd<sub>0.5</sub>Dy<sub>0.5</sub>FeO<sub>3</sub> thin film and its utilization in microstripline based resonator circuit

Abstract Nd 0.5 Dy FeO 3 epitaxial thin film grown on LaAlO (001) substrate by pulsed laser deposition technique shows a significant magnetodielectric effect. At 100 K, variation of around 13% in relative permittivity is observed at frequencies higher than 2 MHz the presence 5 T. This (ε΄) increases to about 50% K. To utilize effect, we have designed microstripline based resonator circuit using High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). Simulations are performed for two values real part (in absence and an external magnetic field) observe field tunability resonance frequency. A shift 27% resonant frequency film.
